To encourage students at our university to actively engage in research related to Korean Studies and enhance their academic research capabilities, our center has established the “Outstanding Master’s and Doctoral Thesis Award” and the “Outstanding Graduate Academic Paper Award” each semester for master’s and doctoral students.

Academic Scholarship

To enhance the academic abilities and learning motivation of students in the Korean Language Program, a scholarship is awarded each semester to enrolled undergraduate students as an encouragement.

K-CAFE學生活動照片

The K-CAFE Korean Language Chatroom, held once each semester, aims to create a fully Korean-language environment where students can freely practice speaking Korean and improve their speaking skills.

At the same time, Korean students serve as teaching assistants, communicating with students in Korean and providing guidance as needed. In addition to regular chat sessions, there are also fun Korean cultural activity experiences, offering more diverse opportunities for speaking practice in Korean.

Our center regularly organizes workshops in Korea and domestic Korean language camps each academic year, aiming to provide students with an environment where they can use Korean in an all-Korean setting and offer diverse opportunities for practice.

At the same time, our center actively invites students from major universities in Korea to Taiwan for exchange programs. Through cultural exchanges between Taiwanese and Korean students, we aim to help students better understand each other’s cultural backgrounds.
